"A" FLIGHT - Competitive Golfer (New Liskeard Golf Course)
"A" Flight teams qualification and final round format will be as follows:
Teams are asked to confirm their preferred qualifying day. The number of qualifying teams on each day will be a ratio of the total field for both days. Teams will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis. Please register early to avoid disappointment.
- 18-hole qualifying round with shotgun start at the New Liskeard Golf Course
- A quota point scoring format will be used. (The best three of four balls count)
- Bogey - 1 point, Par - 2 points, Birdie - 4 points, Eagle - 5 points, Hole-in-one - 6 points
- All players must pick up the ball after reaching bogey
Sunday, August 26
13 teams will qualify at the expanded Frog's Breath Golf Course, with final round tee times at 8:30 am and 1:00 pm. A Canadian Professional Golfer will be added to each final team. The committee will grant one entry in the final round to the highest bidder at the Saturday evening auction. The total playing field will be limited to 14 teams.
"B" FLIGHT - Recreational Golfer (Haileybury Golf Course)
Note: "B" Flight teams must consist of four golfers with a combined handicap of 65 or more. No one player may have less than a 15 handicap. The Frog's Breath Committee reserves the right to transfer teams to the "A" Flight that do not meet these requirements.
Friday, August 24
"B" Flight teams will play a scramble format, and the following information will pertain to "B" Flight play:
- 9-hole qualifying round with shotgun start at 8:00 am or 1:00 pm at the Haileybury Golf Course
- Play format will be a 9-hole scramble. (After each stroke, all golfers play their next shot from the group's best previous shot.)
Saturday, August 25
7 teams will advance to the Frog's Breath Golf Course (9 hole round on the original course), with final round in a scramble format. A shotgun tee-off at 11:00 am on Saturday. Two Canadian Professional Golfers will be added to each final team.
